I've been married to the same guy since 1996. My husband and I have three kids and two cats. My job is in higher education administration, which is not as boring as it sounds. Nine years ago, I was doing marketing and event planning for an international software company, but hell, lots of people got laid off after Spud took office.

When not at work, I mediate arguments between my kids or bargain with my husband so he'll do it. My eldest son says my special talent is "shopping," but I've been known to channel Bonnie Raitt when alone in the car.
