I have been teaching at Holgate in NW Ohio for the past 28 years. I have been teaching the Reading for Enjoyment classes since 1994.

I am a BGSU (75) graduate with a masters degree from the College of Mt. St. Joseph (85).

I have enjoyed reading different genres and authors since creating the Reading for Enjoyment classes. I like the adventure and the historical fiction that Clive Cussler creates in his Dirk Pitt series. I also enjoy the suspense and sometimes strange and evil writings of Dean Koonz. Fantasy books written by Terry Brooks are among my favorites. Also among my favorites are books written by Og Mandino, Michael Crichton, Patricia Cornwell, Michael Connelly, and James Patterson.

I also have enjoyed the romantic penmanship of Nicholas Sparks. My reading experience is wide and varied which also include reading young adult literature written by Cooney, Lowry, Colfer, Dessen, Letts, Paulsen, Spinelli, and O’Dell, as well as many others.
