I have been writing political commentary for several online and print publications since 1998 and my area of primary focus is on US foreign policy and Middle Eastern affairs. I am both politically and publicly active in my community and was a Tennessee state electorate in the 2004 general election. I hail from conservative Republican roots but have since migrated to a centrist position. In my humble opinion, no longer do either Republicans or Democrats represent my views or the views of most Americans who value common sense above party loyalty.
