Free and easy blog signup.
1). We now suggest that all new users (especially AOL, Hotmail and Yahoo! users) "whitelist" support@tblog.com prior to creating a new account at tBlog.com. This will increase the odds that our verification email will be delivered to your inbox, and not to a spam folder (or elsewhere). This step is optional...
2). Visit the Registration page
3). Choose a username. (Your blog URL will be "your_username.tBlog.com").
4). Pick a password.
5). Add a *working* email.
6). Enter your zip code (for localization).
7). Verify that you're human by copying the letters into the box.
8). Click "Sign Me Up".
9). Check your email and click the supplied verification link to activate your account.
You are now ready to blog!
My Settings (update your information)
Change your email, retrieve your password, set your preferences, sign up for email notifications: when a comment is posted to your blog, tBlog newsletter, and tMatch. Change these at anytime then click "Make Changes".
TIP: If ever you lose or forget your password, just visit this page and type in your username. Our system will send a new password to that email address only. If that email is not a working email, then your password is unretrievable. Keep your email address current to avoid lost password retrieval problems.
Setup Your Profile
An avatar helps identify you and makes you unique. Add an avatar by going to tBlog Photos. Use the browse button to find a low resolution JPEG image on your computer, and select it. Check the "Make this my avatar!" checkbox if you want to make the image your avatar. Click the upload button... The page should refresh with a success message... Click on the link to manage your images. If you wish to use the new image on your blog click the link associated with blog this... That will insert the new image into the blog editor where you can resize it, etc. You can change your avatar photo at anytime by uploading another photo and selecting the "use as avatar" box.
TIP: When looking at any tBlog profile, you can view their blog (red button), their profile (lime green button), their friends (blue button), or Tmail the member (orange button) direct.

My Images: There are many options when it comes to uploading photos to your blog...
My Profile: Change your profile! Add as much (or as little) information about yourself as you wish. Enter key search words of your interest so other members of similar interests can find your blog and visit.
My Bookmarks - Subscribe to other (tBlog) blogs, and receive an email whenever the user creates a new post. Just type in their username and click the "Add This User" button to add them to your list!
Shop with your tBucks - Purchase features, avatars, headers, wallpaper and more for your blog. You earn tBucks for every blog post or comment that you make.
Blog Statisitics - check to see who has visited your blog. Registered visitors will appear on this page with avatars and links so you can visit their blogs/profiles in return. Other (non-registered) visitors are listed as a "non-tblog visit".
Promote your Blog - Some tips about how to get your blog noticed outside the tBlog community and on the WWW.
tFriends - invite other members to be your tFriends. Other people can see whose blogs you may read. It is like a link to other members blogs from your blog and vice versa. Make friends and get free publicity from within the Tblog community by using this network feature.
tMail - an internal mail system where you can tMail other members privately.
Just click on a member's envelope for the message box to come up, type your message (plain text only) and send. There is no address to remember or store, it is all automatic and direct.
tBlurt - a shout board on the main site (to the right) where you can meet, greet and interact with other members. You can view another member's blog by clicking the little red button, or their profile, by clicking the lime green button. tBlurt is a great way to promote your blog by announcing a new post (and its subject) to other visitors.
Adjusting or changing your Blog Settings
Selecting your template: My Blog > My Template
Select the template you wish to use by clicking on "activate".
Tweak My Template - Edit your template colors and/or select a background image from your tBlog photo account using the select box provided.
Remember: You can change your template at any time with a click, but you will need to make some adjustments to your new template if you wish to "personalize" it. If you dont like the new "look" that you create while tweaking your template, click on "revert" and the old template comes back. Make sure you click SAVE after any template adjustments or editing!
TIP: All templates can be customized with HTML under "Add or Edit HTML. Use the link at the top of the page to see where (on your blog) the HTML code will appear. Add your HTML code to the designated boxes.
Add or Edit your Links. Enter the name of your new link. Enter the full link URL. Specify where you want this link to appear in your list. Click the "New Window" checkbox if you want a new window to open when somebody clicks on this link.
Write A Post
There are three types of editors for you to use:
Plain - no frills and easy to use, just type your entry and post.
Simple - offers you a few simple editor tools to use when you write your post.
Advanced - offers a complete tool bar to work with where you can change your font, your font size, add photos, embed links and much more!
Add your subject title, type your post, and select which community category you wish to list it in.
Indicate if you you wish to allow visitors to leave comments on your blog entry.
Click (once) on the publish button and your post is done!

My Blog > My Posts: Manage, Edit or Delete your blog posts.
My Blog > My Comments: Manage, Delete or View comments to your blog.
My Blog > Blog Settings: Name your blog, add a brief description, disable comments or select who can comment, select how many blog enteries are viewable on the entry page and add your time zone. Click on "Change Settings". You can change your settings anytime!

TIP: The Hot Blog List is a list of active tBloggers who have regular posts and visitors. The list changes frequently, and depends on blog/blogger activity.
Delete Your Account
If you wish to delete your account, please tmail your request to nickster. The delete request MUST originate from the account that you wish to delete.
